Wes Borland with his Signature Yamaha CV820WB.
Whether you love Limp Bizkit or loathe them, you cannot deny that Wes Borland knows his stuff. Not only that but he combines this ability with incredible restraint, which is unusual in a genre where its all too common to ‘overplay’; he’s quite often happy just to work around the one chord and he still manages to make it sound interesting.
Yamaha Pacifica, Fender Telecaster, ShaftesBury Les Paul and more.
We have Kaoss-theory to thank for sending in this photo of his rather nice guitar and pedal collection.
“L-R: (Back Row) Yamaha Pacifica (with custom tape and sticker job), Fender Telecaster Thinline Deluxe, 1972 Shaftesbury Les Paul (Made around the same time as the Ibanez Lawsuit guitars and in Japan, so it plays better than most Gibsons from the same time), Tanglewood Discovery Electro-Acoustic.
L-R: (Front Row) Fernandes Nomad, Line 6 Pod, Dunlop Cry-baby Wah and Digitech Whammy Pedal
There’s also my dad’s Brunswick Ukulele in the back for some reason.”

Audio-art sent this nice little line-up in, saying:
“This is my collection! Nothing fancy, just a (2008?) Yamaha FG730s, a 2004 Squier Standard Strat, and a Washburn Rover.”
Don’t fret, even John “My Bass Guitar Collection Filled Every Room In My Mansion” Entwhistle had to start somewhere.

Just oh-so-casually leaning against a beautiful old recording desk. Pretty much the only thing missing is a dusty old Selmer or Sunn amp.

Here’s yet more gorgeousness from Setspole…
“Epi Joe Pass, Yamaha strat with Tele neck, custom humbucker wound to 7.4k, wired so it can be switched in and out of phase stock middle pickup and at the neck a Duncan Vintage Tele pickup(not a strat size but a real Tele pickup) THIS is the studio guitar, it makes about every sound I need, Fernandes ‘62 reissue, and that Les Paul thingy from before. still more to come”
Can’t wait to see them!

Gg119 sent in this sweet pair of classical guitars saying;
“On Left - Anne: a Yamaha acoustic w/ metal strings. I don’t know anything else about it.
On right - Valerie: a Sky acoustic w/ metal strings. My favorite of the two.
Named both after Lights Poxleitner.”
Ok, as both a guy and the owner of a ‘Grace’, a ‘Debra’ and a ‘Rebecca’, I’m compelled to ask a question; do girls name their guitars after guys?
GP adds - Ok, quite embarressed about this; I just got a message from GG119 pointing out that she is, in fact, a girl. I should REALLY check these kind of things out before hitting that publish button…

The SG3000 is arguably the top of the SG range, and not even Nigel Tufnel could argue with the sustain; if he had held up one of these instead of a Gibson Les Paul in Spinal Tap, chances are we COULD have heard it.
This rocking looking police lineup has been sent in by Drfkingpepper, along with a query. He says;
“These are the three main guitars i use.
An Ibanez RG 420FB, a Squier Telecaster Thinline natural and a Yamaha bass.
Unfortunately, im not sure what model the bass is, it was second hand, but it is sweet to play and sounds brilliant!
(In fact, anyone care to tell me what model?)
All together a diverse range of guitars for all styles of play! :D”
Anyone care to venture a guess as to what make the bass is?
