leafboltor asked: I have a gretsch corvette with a bigsby that i never use, but i dont want to take it off. is there a way to string it so its effectively a hardtail?

That is an interesting question but it’s one that I’m going to have to put out to the rest of the world; any of you knowledgable folk able to help?

Gretsch Chet Atkins, Fender Telecaster, Gibson Les Paul and more.
Ok, here’s a moral/ethical question for you all; What exactly would you guys be prepared to do to be able to glance over to the corner of your rehearsal space and see this beautiful sight waiting for you? Codybenecasa doesn’t need to answer this one, seeing as he’s the lucky so-and-so that sent them in.

Grestch Van Epps Signature Model.
Here’s a beautiful Gretsch George Van Epps Seven-String Guitar, first introduced in 1968 but discontinued in the early 70’s. It was clearly an idea ahead of it’s time, although Gretsch tried to play it safe at the time and produced a 6-String version at the same time.
