Pretty much as basic a Gibson as you can get but who are we to argue with Billy Gibbons!

1976 Gibson Marauder Custom.
In production from 1974 to 1979, there were less than 1,400 of these beauties made - but the 70’s were a bad time for Gibson. This was intended to go head-to-head with Fender in the single-coil pickup end of the market and actually sounds more like a Fender than a Gibson with a greater deal of clarity and less of the grit that Gibsons are known for.

Gibson SG’s, lined up in a row.
Incredible to think that Les Paul didn’t actually like these but Angus Young, Tony Iommi and Paul Weller amongst others have helped proved their worth.
