De-fretted Dean Edge 5 and spray-painted Guild Pilot.
Many thanks to Jamie Amos for sending in this Tron-esque pair!
Dean ‘Dimebag Darrell’ Dime Of Flame ML.
Dimebagisdon sent in this beast saying “Here is my Dean Dime of Flame ML. I love it to bits, and think its a steady, reliable and awesome guitar.”

Brownsville Dean Copy.
This heavily customised Dean Baby copy has been sent in by Awildtardisappears, who says; “Say hello to “The Wall”. This is an old guitar that I used to own back in high school, an old friend used it for his art class for his exam. Sadly the guitar is no longer with me and I haven’t seen of it since. Last I’ve known, the person who had it stripped it of it’s amazing stained glass, which really broke my heart.
The guitar used was a brownsville knock off of a Dean Baby ML. It wasn’t the greatest of guitars but it was beautiful when it was made into “The Wall”.”

These beauties were sent in by Thelargefry, alongside a thought that I think many of us would agree with wholeheartedly.
“If i had to choose between anti-depressants or guitars….i would choose guitars.
These two have helped me through the worst times a man could go through and i’m happy that they continue to give me the same feeling of when i first got to play on them.
The Fender is a Scorpion Esquire from 2003, i bought it over a year ago at a local music shop. Sadly i have no clue as of what the specs are on it, I’ve looked and looked and still can’t find a reliable source on it.
The Flying V is a Dean 79’ series series V. The year of when i ordered it was back in 2005 i believe, Mahogany body and set neck with some nice pick-ups. This Guitar was the first guitar i truly ever fell in love with, i was the only one, (besides the people at dean and the guitar shop owner) to ever play it first. It was the first guitar that i used to play shows with and it will always be my personal favorite.”
It’s all getting a bit metal round here with this beauty. Yes, we know it can lends itself to both Jazz and Country quite well, but lets face it; plug this thing into a Marshall and you are in Heavy Metal heaven…
Jaxxx sent in this achingly teasing shot of a Dean Soltero SL. There’s definitely not enough Deans on Guitar Porn at the moment, if you’ve got a Razorback or a Cadillac just sitting in the corner then please send it in, we’d love to see it.
There’s not enough Jacksons either. Or Paul Reed Smith. Or…
Fancy a threesome? Nermalator sent in this photo of his three axes looking primed and ready for action. They’re all as standard apart from the Encore Blaster which has been modded with an Adagio Hotrail style Pickup in the Bridge.
Shquietyoumightpisssomebodyoff requested a Dean guitar so here is a beautiful 1980 reissue Dean Cadillac. Don’t expect to be playing any tender ballads on them though - these beasts are built purely to rock.
