The only way for this to be more pornographic is for there to be vaseline smeared over the camera lens. These 1960’s guitars are a bit of a mixed bag, being made by Teisco, Guyatone and Hagstrom then rebadged to be sold in US department stores and the quality control was ‘loose’ to say the least. Bruce Springsteen said his first guitar was a Kent and Lou Reed and Sterling Morrison played them on the first Velvet Underground album. If you find one, the well-made Kents are well regarded by anyone lucky enough to own one, including Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth, who can often be seen proudly brandishing his Kent 12-String.
